What is the Process?

Once you have chosen me for your Cake Designer and paid the £150 non-refundable booking fee to secure your date with me, we will arrange to get together around 4-6 months prior to your date for your Design Consultation.

This is where we can discuss colours, styles and take inspiration from your venue decor, invites, bridesmaid colour etc to come up with the perfect design for you.

I will provide digital sketches of the design we discussed along with a costing a few days after our meeting for you to look over and decide the option that you prefer.  You will receive your complimentary Cake Taster Box at this time to take away with you to choose which flavours you like.

One month prior to your date the final balance for your Wedding Cake will be due to be paid. This is the last point you will be able to make any changes to your design.

I will be in contact frequently in the lead up to your big day should you have any questions.

On the morning of your Wedding I will come along to your venue to set up your cake so that your only worry will be which flavour to choose first.

How much Does a Wedding Cake Cost?

As soon as you have booked your venue, it’s time to start sourcing all those important suppliers. Firstly get in touch with your Wedding Date, Venue and how many guests you hope to invite, I will check my availability and then we can get down to the fun part, discussing your cake ideas. My diary is open 2 years in advance so it’s never too early to book. I recommend booking with me 18-24 months in advance especially if your date is during peak season ie. April-September.

Once your date is confirmed in my diary we can then arrange to meet in person (or zoom if need be) for your Cake Design Consultation.  This is where we will discuss design, style, colours and flavours. This is also when you will receive your complimentary Wedding Cake Taster Box to take home and enjoy.

Should you wish to try my Cake Taster box before you secure your date with me then these are available to order several times throughout the year at £30 per box.

My Cake Taster boxes contain 6 of my most popular flavours along with a couple of iced cookie favours.  I have other flavour combos which are detailed in my Wedding Brochure and if you don’t see the combo you like just ask?

I am not dedicated Free From Kitchen as all the usual ingredients are used daily in my Kitchen,  I can provide Gluten Free cakes but can not guarantee no trace.

During your Design Consultation we will discuss in detail your ideas, colours etc and can take inspiration from you invites, bridesmaid colours, flowers etc to come up with your perfect design.

We will discuss your Cake Design at your Design Consultation which I like to arrange around 4-6 months prior to your date.

Yes. Your date is not secured with me until you have read and signed your T&Cs and paid my £150 non-refundable booking fee.

This non-refundable booking fee covers all correspondence, your Design Consultation, cake sketches and your complimentary Cake Taster Box.

On your Wedding Day, I will deliver and set up your Wedding Cake at your venue so you can relax knowing everything has been taken care of.

Celebration Cakes are generally collection only.

There are so many variables, such as date, size, finish, complexity of your design.  For Wedding Cakes I can provide a price range based on the size of cake required. Portion sizes are based on 1”x 1” finger portions which are approx. 5-6” tall as standard.  I would normally suggest catering to around 80% of your guest numbers if your cake is being served as part of the evening buffet.  I have starting prices listed on my website.
